Despite all the 'written by Mark Millar and published by Epic Comics' hype, there doesn't seem to be any buzz about Trouble. A newsgroup search brought up very little in the way of discussion or commentary, and eBay sales are basically non-existent, with only the Frank Cho cover seeming to bring in bids (for obvious reasons). So what's the scoop? Is there one? Hello?

Like most Nu-Marvel titles, no one talks about the content, only the creative team and sales figures. The reason being there is never much story content to discuss in Nu-Marvel titles. Most stories have few twists and turns and they take six months to see whether whatever story there is - is any good. By that time nobody cares anymore. Solicitations are the only things that generate discussion. Sad people actually write monthly columns about nothing more than SOLICITATIONS. Pathetic. That's the word that describes fandom nowadays.

Rumour has it that sales were rather disappointing. We'll know soon, when the official charts for last month come out.

There's no reason for something to be big on ebay when it's readily available through regular outlets.

I love thinking about whats gonna happen next, possible tyrns etc after reading my new comics. For examople i had a bet with my brother that the stuff in the shed (new xmen, murder at the mansion) was angels and beaks babies and that they took out emma. I was of course, right *smugsmuggringrin*. its good having someone else at hand to talk about the same books ive read. everyone with siblings; MAKE THEM READ COMICS!! :-P

Not really. It was a bad read that didn't sell as well as hoped.

I'm hoping to see more cameos by older Marvel characters in their younger days in a desperate bid to boost sales...perhaps a teenaged Vulture or Red Ghost as a surly exchange student.

Wow. We have 'shite', disappointing sales, readily available everywhere, and 'a bad read', all from RACMU regulars you can trust. All in all, not a very good assessment - basically what I expected. Thanks to everyone who replied!

It isn't a particularly noteworthy book. Trendy teen hijinks. Yawn.
