Ultimate Spider-Man #32 -spoilers inside

This ish left me with tons of questions.

If that guy posing as spidey was 'just some guy' off the street, where the heck did he get web-shooters from? How was even able to swing on the webbing (I'm probably starting to geekily nitpick here, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that it took Pete's patented spider-strength to swing on the stuff- last ish we saw him swing to the top of a building)

How was he able pick up throw a guy over his head and through him thru a glass window in that first robbery he did? And wasn't he supposed to be Spanish? Or was that just a useless red herring from the last ish? I was half expecting it to be a young 'Chameleon-as-a-mutant' or something, but finding out it was 'just a guy' was pretty

Y'know, the Chameleon didn't even occur to me...I was expecting a surprise ending introducing us to Ultimate Mysterio. But I agree, the 'just a guy' thing totally didn't wash in light of what we saw Fake Spidey do.

Until I get my Unltimate Mysterio they shall not be forgiven. Also am I correct in assuming that this fake spider-man is the spider-man we see dead (or just knocked out) covered in snow in the new Ultimate War #1?

I wondered about that too, until I remembered that one of the kids in the van we saw just before the bridge blew up was tossing around the head of a Spider-Man doll.

Another confusing aspect of the scene was the way the path of the thrown head was drawn. Until I followed the path through a couple of ricochets and found the head, I thought it was a sniper bullet that somehow ignited the conflagration in the next panel.

This title has been disappointing to me for most of this past year. I thought it started out great but it's been going downhill for a while now IMHO.

I've found more then a couple of the story resolutions in the past year to be anti-climatic.

I'm wondering if it was Eddie Brock. Peter hasn't seen him in ages and wouldn't know what he looks like. Eddie'd have the same access to Peter regarding web shooter technology, and Venom's about to come up. This issue might provide him some motivation to become Venom.
