Well, I rather liked the Darkhold comic book that came out of the Midnight Sons. Nice simple, horrible little concept and Richard 'Morrisons Doom Patrol' Case on art.

Even Sabretooth was almost tolerable in his mandatory cameo.

Eh. To some degree, perhaps, but I always thought they were pale imitations of Cthulhu and the Necronomicon. They haven't been able to stir up the kind of horror you'd see in a Lovecraft story. When these concepts can do that, I'd like to read them.

I'd like to see a return of any Marvel magic-user to a regular series.

As for Chthon and the Darkhold: the last I rememeber seeing Chthon was in the final issue of Dr. Strange's last ongoing series which tried to wrap up the whole Darkholders storyline which left Victoria Montessi pregnant with a baby Chthon.
