WEHT Multiple Man?

Whatever happened to Multiple Man? I lost track of that guy(s).

Isn´t he in the X-corporation, as unlikely as it seems? X-factor was a funny book, i can´t quite se Madrox fitting in with that New X-men attitude.

Nowadays, I think that description fits anyone who's still an active/semi-active mutant: 'They're in the X-Corps.'

Working with the Paris branch of the X-Corporation. Seems to have assumed a team leadership role of some sort, which is a little odd as that's never been something to interest him, and the team he led included both Cannoball and Siryn.

Technically, the X-Corps is a different animal. X-Corps was a militant group of mutants led by a possessed Banshee. The X-Corporation is kind of like the Peace Corps of the mutant world.

Actually X-Corps was the awful Nazi-esque mutant militant group during Casey's run on UXM. Multiple Man (and sundry other mutants) are in X-Corporation, or X-Corp for short.

I had thought that Xavier kinda took over the X-Corps after the whole fiasco that culminated with Banshee getting his throat cut. IIRC, a few of the X-Corps people (Multiple Man and M come to mind) jumped to the X-Corp after that story, hence my belief that they were both one and the same...

As far as the X-Men Encyclopedia is concerned, the current X-Corporation is a continuation of the X-Corps, so you're not all that wrong about that.

As I understand it, Banshee started X-Corps and it all went to hell because Banshee wasn't playing with a full deck. Then Xaiver stepped in, took over, added some of his own resources and turned it into the X-Corporations.

I think it's also just a matter of 'I want the X-Men to have this worldwide network. Who's going to be in it? Well, clearly the first people they'll phone will be the old supporting cast, so...'
