He went full-on feral and pals around with Nocturne, a character whose power seems to be her ability
to
speak
in as
stunted
a
manner
as
possible.
Think of it as Stanley and his Monster with wings and fur.

Personally, Stanley and His Monster sound *MUCH* more interesting and compelling...

In a Frank Tieri issue of WOLVERINE. Not worth bothering with, though, since Puma just served as cannon fodder, along with several other third-stringers.

I always thought Puma was a pretty cool character. What comics has he been in besides Amazing Spider-Man? I also thought it would've been cool to see him duke it out with Venom, since it's safe to say they're in the same league power-wise. I'm also surprised Kraven hasn't tried hunting him down. Or has he?

: : Did he survive?
I think so, but I don't remember much of the issue, so I could be wrong.
Whoever wants to use Puma in the future (Bring Back J.M. DeMatteis to the Spider-Man Books) will likely ignore the story, anyway.

Mr DeMatteis was great when he was working on the Spider-man books, who can forget Grizzly and his sidekick Gibbon, the boy monkey, specially when they took on the white Rabbit. It was hilarious, and complemented by Luke Ross' excellent artwork.
