Mine, in some order are as follows:
ASM #40 (the issue where we learn about the origin of the Green Goblin);
ASM #44 (?) - - where Kraven the Hunter disables spiderman with rays that he shoots from his boobs (really a ray shot from the lion's eye)
ASM 112-114 (?) - - the gang war with Hammerhead and Doc Ock, where Peter gets an ulcer and Aunt May tries to shoot him.
ASM (?) - - The six part story about the Death of Kraven. That's a terrific and effective story.
ASM #8 (?) the one where Peter and Flash Thompson box, and Spiderman fights the robot who might be able to figure out his identity.
ASM 59(?) - - the one that has Mary Jane dancing on the cover with her gogo boots. Actually, I've never read the comic, but the gogo boots are the best.
I obviously have a bias to the older magazines, mostly because those are the ones I used to read. I have been reading the Peter Parker Spiderman (Todd McFarlane started it), and can't say that I have been overly impressed. But what do you all think?

Mine, in no order at all:
Amazing Spider-Man 39-40 - Johnny Romita brings a new look to Spider-Man, Gobby discovers a secret, and Gobby's identity and origin are revealed.
Amazing Spider-Man 31-33 - Ditko at the bench, Stan the Man scripting, 'If this Be My Destiny.' Doc Ock, a Master Plan, and Peter's unforgettable epic struggle to save Aunt May. SM digging extra deep inside to be the hero is truly an inspiration to me to this day.
Amazing Spider-Man 121-122 - Death of Gwen/Death of GG. Classic. Another Goblin story. Awesome, memorable cover on 122!!!
Amazing Spider-Man 96-98 - The Comics Code Unapproved Issues - another Goblin story, and a subplot about drug addiction. Not an alltime great, but groundbreaking in its way, and very memorable covers.
Amazing Spider-Man 112-115: Hammerhead. Doc Ock. GANGWAY! Gerry conway picks up from Stan Lee. Roy Thomas arrives! Jazzy Johnny Romita Sr. delivers!
Amazing Spider-Man 53-56: Doc Ock and Spidey team up? Aunt May adores the quiet, reserved doctor Octavious? Drama and Pathos, in the Mighty Marvel Tradition!!!!
Amazing Spider-Man 129 - The Punisher! Classic cover, good story!
Amazing Spider-Man 149-150 - Culminates the Jackal storyline, and also the first of the clones nonsense. At this point, the clones stuff was cool.

Forgot one thing.
Spider-Man peaked in the late 60s, early 70s. By the time issue 200 rolled around in the late 70s or early 80s, SM was a big bore.
For me, 'Spider-Man' is all about Amazing Spider-Man issues 1 to 180 or so (ending the Goblin 3 storyline) and it just got sidelined with Black Cat, and later on Venom, and Carnage, and clones. I would read an occasional later issue of SM that my brothers would pick up, but I never really appreciated the title much anymore.
