What no yellow costume?

I thought not showing the early yellow Daredevil was a huge let down to hardcore fans. By the way why did Matt change to a red costume? I beleive his yellow costume was destroyed during a battle with the Owl but I may be wrong.

Wally Wood just drew him a new one. I think there was some mention of it, but I don't remember exactly. It's in 'Essential Daredevil Vol. 1' somewhere.

At any rate, I'd only have used a clip of the yellow costume in some sort of flashback talking about a time when his outfit looked like it was designed by a blind man.

I would have gone the Batman route and have had it hanging in a clear tube as Murdock walks by it.

Personally I'm glad they didn't show it, that suit looked like it was designed by a blind man. Bleh.

In another thread, it's mentioned that it was a few changes over two or three issues. Single D to the Double D logo, Yellow Parts to red, etc.

So he (and his frequent visitors) can look at it as they walk by?

Well, he sort of has a secret room with all his costumes in the film. It could be an homage to his early days (although it takes place early in his career) like the boxing gloves of father. I agree the lighted tube would be too much but at least show it hanging up behind the newer costumes.

That reminds me, how does he change so fast to Daredevil during the hotel dinner party? Don't tell me he has those leathers under his tux!

Why would the tube need to be clear?
