Or for that matter, any of the actors who appeared in the television Spider-Man series?
I know, there are some people who are adamant against any actor from a previous incarnation making even a cameo appearance in a new incarnation (imagine Adam West doing a cameo in any Batman movie). But there are plenty who would have no complaints. It can't be any worse than any of Stan Lee's cameos (except that if anyone is entitled, he is since he at least co-created the characters), or the movie Lana Lang being cast as Mrs Kent in the Smallville tv series.
I was trying to think of a villain who Hammond could play, then I considered other heroes who might be considered Spider-Man characters. Dominic Fortune comes to mind. The character would have to be adjusted to fit a forty- or fifty something.
Anyway know if Hammond has kept his shape? Luke Skywalker and Buck Rogers (Gil Girard) certainly didn't stay fit after their heydays. Actually, maybe Mark's gotten himself back into shape, but he had a beer belly in some of his earlier appearances (not that I'm one to talk, it's just not from drinking beer in my case).

It would be cool to have Nicholas Hammond appear in Spider-Man 2 in a photo showing Pete's Dad ... that's about the only role I come with for him.

I saw him in a 'where are they now' thing, and he's still in OK shape. A bit thin. If you like Farscape, he was briefly in the episode where Chrichton is watching the video of the show about reactions to him and the rest of Moya's crew.
I think he'd make a fine Curt Connors (with computer effects for his arm like those that removed Gary Sinise's legs in Forrest Gump).
