Why does no one post about stories?

All I see on this group are posts about the books themselves (where to buy, titles, etc.). Nothing about recent issues or opinions of stories. I've tried posting a couple of times about current storylines but usually don't get much in the way of replys.

OK, well how does everyone feel about the direction that JMS is taking Amazing Spidey? Anyone sad to see Mackie go? Not I.

Look, I'm just trying to get caught up. I've been away for so long, I don't know what happened since everyone thought Ben Reilly was Spiderman. Who is JMS and who is Mackie? Please fill me in, as I subscribe to this group looking for postings about story lines myself, but my complaint is the same at Old School's.
