X-Fan Forums (XPOST)

Apologies for the cross-post, sort of relevant to both parties.

Anyway, I registered for the X-Forums, which I know a lot of those who frequent these groups do also frequent X-Forum, yesterday and to date I have not received the confirmation e-mail which is preventing me from posting. Does it usually take a long time? Most other web based message boards I've used usually have an automatic instant registration and e- mail confirmation system, does X-Fan forums require manual authorisation from the board operator? That'd explain the confirmation e-mail delay.

Sometimes their system is wacky. I had to have Eric, the administrator, manually add my name because I wasn't getting the registration email. You might
