After almost six years of serving the online X-Men fan community, X-Fan has undergone a name change to become ComiX-Fan to better reflect our recent shift towards covering all Marvel Comics and related topics! The site now also has a new URL - http://www.comixfan.com/xfan - though the old x-mencomics.com URL will continue to function.

Given the cross-pollination of creators between companies in this industry we all know and love, ComiX-Fan now comes complete with a slew of new forums dedicated to discussion on DC, CrossGen, Dark Horse, Image, and more! You'll also see more non-Marvel coverage as we do our best to keep you up-to-date on what your favorite Marvel creators are doing outside the company.

So if you haven't stopped by the site of late, why not give us another look?

We hope that you like the new direction, and that folks will continue to support us as faithfully and as graciously as you have in the past. It's through such support that X-Fan/ComiX-Fan is able to stay online, and for that we're eternally grateful!

Finally...............substantial proof that the damned X-Men's popularity is surely slipping into oblivion. ;p

oh dear?! :

i was a bit displeased to see it becoming focused on marvel-wide projects awhile ago, instead of sticking to the stuff i was going there for.

now it's going even farther in that direction.

well, i hope you keep up the focus on the X-books, even if there's a lot of other stuff being covered.

There's a good reason we kept 'X-Fan' in the new site name

Don't worry, as evidenced by our recent interview with Chuck Austen about 'The Draco' arc in Uncanny, we'll still have plenty of X-news!

Good luck, did the move also entail a move in server space? What company did/do you use?

How about trying for some good X-news? Rather than the recent 'Good people leave Marvel en masse and those left discuss their hatchet job plans'

Okay, I had someone who knows something about computers look at my 'particular' problem. Basically, I am unable to accept cookies because IE6 privacy wizard.

When looking deeper, I get the message could not find a privacy policy for www.comixfan.com .......

you need to define a privacy police as wanted by IE6, or everyone with this or higher may run into issues. I apologize for boring everyone with this, but I get Eric to answer me here! =)

The one linked here <http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/> isn't any good?

He's good everywhere, it just may be lost in the shuffle of admin stuff, while here here it sticks out moreso.

*big hugs for Consul* Thanks, that link did work, perfectly, I am not sure why the other did not. Strange indeed. Almost tempted to try and recreate the problem just to see what the big difference was, because I really thought I was going to the places suggested earlier in this thread. I'm real particular for following stuff exactly ... but I was able to go there, and post, and I didn't not get the aol pop up either.

I know Eric is busy, it just seemed easier to catch him here.

Thanks again, and sorry to waste newsgroup time on this.

Alexis
